Abir Ibn Khaldun was an Astropath of the City of Sight during the early days of the Horus Heresy.^[1a]

One of the most talented astropaths on Terra, Khaldun led the choir in receiving messages from loyalist forces in the wake of the Battle of Isstvan III.^[1b] When Magnus the Red attempted to contact the Emperor of Mankind, however, the psychic backlash resonated within the Choir Primus, incinerating Khaldun and forming a ball of Warp-light out of the Psykers' deaths.^[1c]
