Alexander Mane

Alexander Mane is a legendary Inquisitor.^[1]

History

He was part^[1] of the Dark Crusade's Kith Campaign, which was launched to defend the Chinchare sub-sector from an invasion by the Asuryani and Drukhari. The Xenos had began their attack in the wake of the 13th Black Crusade and among them^[2] was the Exarch Maurtear. The Exarch would become known as the Scourge of the Burnicus Subsector for his attacks upon it and this led Mane to declare Maurtear Xenos Purgatus. Once this was placed upon the Exarch, no effort was spared to track down and kill Maurtear and his warriors.^[1] However while the Xenos were eventually defeated by the Imperium's forces,^[2] the Exarch survived the Crusade.^[1]

Alexander Mane, Maurtear and the Burnicus Subsector were created for the Dark Crusade Campaign by the Hobby Center staff of Games Workshop's Glen Burnie HQ store^[1] in Glen Burnie, Maryland, USA.^[3]
