Aloysian
Aloysian was the Master of the Forge of the Fists Exemplar during the War of the Beast in mid-M32.[1] Alongside his Chapter Master Maximus Thane, Aloysian confronted forces led by Argus Van Auken at Pavonis Mons on orders to retrieve Tech-Priest Eldon Urquidex. The Techmarine had been familiar with the terrain of Mars and was placed on the front line by Thane as a reminder to the Mechanicus of their long-standing alliance with Terra.[1a]
Alongside the forces led by Koorland, Aloysian participated in the search for Vulkan on Caldera.[1b] He fought as part of a diversionary force commanded by Thane to allow Vulkan and Koorland time to destroy the Ork's machine and avoid Caldera turning into an Attack Moon.[1c]
He later led a bike squad alongside a contingent of Aurora Chapter tanks through ork mine fields in the Second Battle for Ullanor.[2]
