Ares Lictor

Ares Lictor was a Knight Paladin of House Taranis.[1]
History
By the dawn of the Imperium, Ares Lictor was piloted by Brother Taymon Verticorda. Despite the efforts of Taranis's tech-priests and sacristans, the Knight suffered from an inflexible knee joint.[1]
Notably, Verticorda and Ares Lictor were present to witness the Emperor of Mankind's arrival on Mars - the Emperor used his psychic powers to restore Ares Lictor, repairing the Knight's knee joint and rendering it functioning as if it had just been assembled. Having experienced the Emperor's power, Verticorda immediately knelt before him, believing this act proof that the Emperor was in fact the Omnissiah incarnate.[1]
