Aton is a Sol-like star that Atoma Prime orbits. Aside from Atoma Prime, capital world of the Moebian Domain, 6 other planets orbit Aton; 2 small rocky planets, 3 large gas giants, and a small icy world at the system's edge. Atoma Prime is the only inhabited world of this singular star system, however, there are also various orbital stations and small research outposts on other worlds.^[1]

The name Aton is possibly a reference to an ancient Egyptian solar deity, Aten, also reconstructed as Aton, Atonu, or Itn. They were the chief deity of Atenism, the religious system formally established in ancient Egyptian Empire by the late Eighteenth Dynasty pharaoh Akhenaten.
