Aurent is an Imperial Hive World[3] which also serves as a way-station for the Imperial Navy.[2a] It is the sixth planet of the Agripinaa System.[2a]
The planet was invaded by the Eldar of Craftworld Ulthwé in 992.M41. However, they were later defeated by Astra Militarum forces led by Commander Ursarkar Creed.[2b][3] A small group of ships would retreat here after an attack on the Chaos ship Darkblood.
