Barsabbas
Barsabbas is a young but famous member of the Blood Gorgons Chaos Space Marines.[1a][2]

During the Blood Gorgon Sorcerer Anko Muhr’s attempted coup against Gammadin, the Chapter Master of their warband, Barsabbas was left stranded on the world of Hauts Bassiq.[1b] On Hauts Bassiq he managed to capture the Dark Eldar Sindul whose Kabal had been working with Muhr to overthrow Gammadin.[1c] With the help of his Dark Eldar captive and the local human populace, Barsabbas found the imprisoned Chapter Master in the Hive City of Ur.[1f] Together they managed to return to Cauldron Born, the fortress-ship Space Hulk of the Blood Gorgons, which had been taken over by Muhr and his patron Chaos Lord Opsarus.[1g] Barsabbas protected his master and slew the traitorous sorcerer, but he was gravely injured in the process. After the battle with Muhr, Opsarus and their forces, Barsabbas went through a long healing process and was selected as lord Gammadin’s new bond-brother.[1h] Gammadin’s previous bond-brother Sabtah was killed during the coup[1d] and Barsabbas’ previous bond-brother Sargaul was killed on Hauts Bassiq[1e].
