Bayezara's Constellation
Bayezara's Constellation is an Adeptus Custodes Emissaries Imperatus Shield Company of the Kataphraktoi Order, which is commanded by the Shield-Captain Bayezara Aggonades.[1]
History
They ride to war aboard a fleet of anti-grav attack vehicles, which mainly consist of Dawneagle Jetbikes. Their aerial mobility has led the Constellation to employ a unique tactic, which was the inspiration for the Shield Company's name. When their voidship airbrakes across a targeted world's surface, the Bayezara's Constellation board their vehicles and deploy from it once drop-velocity has been achieved. This causes the Shield-Company to streak from the voidship's launch decks like falling stars as they plunge through the world's atmosphere. This tactic can leave their foes in awe - at least until the Bayezara's Constellation begins their attack.[1]
During the Era Indomitus, the Shield Company has bestowed three powerful Terran relics upon worthy bearers, including the Spear of Retribution. It has also turned the fate of a struggling Imperial Crusade around, by delivering a message of hope to the Astra Militarum General Ichos on Mashena III. By doing so, the Bayezara's Constellation prevented the Crusade's failure, which would have led to the ruin of the Sol System.[1]
