Bellerophon's Fall is a satellite of the Gas Giant Crysaor near the Cygnax System in the Maelstrom Zone that played an important role during the events of the Badab War.^[Help]

History

During the Badab War, Strike Force "Star Jackal" of the Marines Errant Chapter were deployed on Bellerophon's Fall via Drop Pods.^[1] They were subsequently ambushed by the forces of the renegade Mantis Warriors Chapter. In a series of lightning raids, the Mantis Warriors were able to kill the Marines Errant's Chapter Master and Third Captain. The Marines Errant withdrew from the Badab War shortly afterwards, partly as a result of these losses. Even after the Mantis Warriors' penance following the conclusion of the war, the Marines Errant have never forgiven them for this.^[2]
