Shas'O Dal'yth Ko'vash Kha'drel, better known as Commander Bravestorm, is a T'au Commander.[4a]
Biography
Bravestorm was a faithful servant of the T'au Empire who helped repel the Imperial invasion of Dal'yth during the Imperial advance into the Empire's territory.[4a]
One of the original recipients of the experimental Battlesuit weapon known as the Onager Gauntlet, during the Damocles Crusade[4x] Bravestorm's Battlesuit was critically damaged at Blackthunder Mesa after he took down dozens of Imperial vehicles[1] as well as a Titan.[6] Now entombed in life support systems, he became confined to his Battlesuit and went on to serve the during the Farsight Expedition. During the campaign Bravestorm was a major T'au Commander who slew scores of Orks despite taking grievous injuries to his already damaged form.[3] During the war on Vior'los against Hive Fleet Gorgon, he sacrificed himself by ramming his battlesuit into a Bio-Titan[8a] but was again able to be salvaged.[8b] Bravestorm continues to serve the Farsight Enclaves as part of The Eight.[2]
During the fighting on Arthas Moloch in the Arks of Omen Campaign, Bravestorm's Iridium Battlesuit suffered catastrophic damage from Ork fire. Farsight personally oversaw his evacuation to a medical facility.[7]
Wargear
While still a member of the T'au Empire proper, Bravestorm piloted an experimental prototype XV8-02 Battlesuit, equipped with a plasma rifle, a Tau Flamer, a shield generator, and Gun Drone Oe-ven-3.[4a]
Trivia
- By the T'au Naming Conventions, it can be surmised that Bravestorm is from Dal'yth Sept.
Conflicting sources
- During the Second Agrellan Campaign, Bravestorm sacrificed himself to save Farsight from a Vindicare Assassin's bullet.[3] This is not mentioned in more recent lore about the character, such as in Psychic Awakening: The Greater Good.[5]
