Tau Plasma Rifle[2]
The Plasma Rifle is a Tau plasma weapon that projects a burst of plasma to destroy the target.
Unlike its Imperial equivalent, the Plasma Rifle sacrifices a measure of firepower in order to prevent overheating and potentially harming the user.[1]
An experimental type of Plasma Rifle dubbed the Novasurge Plasma Rifle exists. This Plasma Rifle is coupled with liquid hydrogen cooling flows with containment micro-field technology derived from the Sun Shark. The result sees the plasma generated within the weapon reaching far greater temperatures before being unleashed.[3]
