Ion Rifle
From Warhammer 40k - Lexicanum
The Ion Rifle is a recent Tau Ion Weapon intended to be wielded by light infantry.[1]
Most commonly deployed by Pathfinders, it has two distinct firing modes, standard and overcharged. It is capable of vaporizing light vehicles and can penetrate even ceramite, but is unstable when overcharged.[2]
