Tau Fusion Blaster[3]
The Fusion Blaster is a Tau Fusion Weapon similar in design and effect to Imperial Melta Weapons[1].
Fusion Guns are commonly carried by Crisis Battlesuits as an anti-tank weapon for penetrating the weaker rear armour of enemy vehicles.[2]
Variants
- Alternating Fusion Blaster which employs a multi-state oscillating energy wave. This projects its fusion blast not only into and through targets, but also arcs in secondary streams that flow around each impacted victim and onwards to the next. The effect is a chaining column of fusion energy that flows towards entire enemy formations.[4]
- Dispersed Fusion Blaster - Fires dispersed blasts[4b][4c]
- High-Energy Fusion Blaster - Fires focused blasts[4b][4c]
- Fusion Eliminator - Mounted on Warmaker battlesuits.[5]
