Butcher King
The Butcher King was the name given to one of the eight individuals which made up the mysterious Hand of Abaddon, an organisation within the Black Legion dedicated to reconstituting the Anathame.[1a]
History
Taking the position as 2nd of the Hand, the Butcher King was a Khornate Chaos Space Marine of unknown origin. Wearing a crimson cloak and ancient Power Armour, he was highly aggressive, bloodthirsty, and ferocious. The Butcher King commanded a force of Khorne Berzerkers as well as crazed Khornate Cultists and Mutants.[1b]
During the Battle of the Stygius Gilt the Butcher King ambushed incoming Imperial forces boarding the Blackstone Fortress used by the Hand as their base. However he was met by Ultramarines Captain Ferren Areios and killed.[1b]
