Hand of Abaddon

The Hand of Abaddon is a group of eight mysterious agents of the Black Legion.[3] Originally thought to be a sole mutant operative,[2a] the Hand is known to be active during the Indomitus Crusade.[1]
First identified by the investigations of Inquisitor Rostov, The Hand was said to be organising the efforts of Ezekyle Abaddon to use Blackstone to expand the Great Rift to cover the entire Galaxy.[1a] However, the primary objective of The Hand was to acquire the 8 shards of the Anathame in order to rebuild the blade.[3a] After the Battle of the Stygius Gilt 4 of the 8 members were dead, but the Anathame has been successfully reforged into a new weapon dubbed Culler.[3d]

- 1st: Tenebrus — Human Sorcerer.[3a] Betrayed by the Blackstone Fortress which served as the Hand's base and replaced by his disciple Tharador Yheng.[3d]
- 2nd: The Butcher King — Khornate Chaos Space Marine.[3b] Killed by Ferren Areios during the Battle of the Stygius Gilt.[3c]
- 3rd: The Host of Masks — Wears a black leather glove-like suit and a false face.[3a] Their true origin is unknown and some think they may be anything from a rogue Imperial Assassin to Xenos to Daemon.[3b]
- 4th: The Iron Magus — Dark Mechanicum Tech-Priest.[3a] Killed by Tharador Yheng in a power struggle.[3c]
- 5th: The Wretched Prince — A Withered Mutant and powerful Sorcerer. Cursed with causing revulsion in others and hated by the rest.[3a][3b]
- 6th: The Sin of Six Knives — Warp creature which flickers in and out of reality. Armed with six blades.[3a]
- 7th: The Scion of Plagues — Nurgle Chaos Space Marine who is the most recent to join.[3b] Killed by the Living Saint Magda Kesh during the Battle of the Stygius Gilt.[3c]
- 8th: Augury — Possible shapeshifting Psyker.[3a]
