Split of the category

Hi, I would like to propose a new structure for this category.

Goal: Make it easy to find organisms by their characteristics, as currently it's very tricky if not impossible to do it without manually opening dozens of articles. Eventually we could (or should now?) include sentient spices into this category tree (Category:Eldar, Category:Necrons, etc, but Category:Minor Alien Species and Factions would likely need to be tackled at some point as well).

This split assumes few important things: If page is in a subcategory, it cannot be in a parent category; If there's a group (e.g. X by faction) an article doesn't have to be in one of the sub-groups (e.g. there can be plants from worlds that weren't conquered yet but were explored by a faction); If something is unknown (e.g. feeding behaviour) we don't put it into a category; Categories are not created unless there is an article for it; Category:Beasts would be removed and the creatures inside would have their respective categories assigned; Yes, I'm aware that a number of these categories would have just 1 or 2 pages, but given the sheer amount of lore that isn't present on Lexicanum just yet - it's fine;

Please, voice your opinions. If you're good with the proposal - I would be happy to implement it.

A new parent category will be created: Organisms

  • Flora
    • Flora by faction (for these we assume the last know affiliation in the source that mentions the plant. E.g. if the Imperial world went through exterminatus - we keep the plant in Imperial category. If a new book was released telling that the Eldar world was conquered by Orcs - we keep the plant in Eldar category unless post-conquest source mentions it still being there)
      • Flora of Imperial worlds
      • Flora of Necron worlds
      • Flora of Tyranids
      • Flora of Eldar worlds
      • etc.
    • Edible plants (even if plants require processing before consumption, they still should be here (IRL examples: potatoes, hops, tea))
      • Medicinal plants
    • Poisonous flora
    • Flora by behaviour
      • (see fauna below, but most won't be present (e.g. swarming/herding flora))
  • Fauna
    • Fauna by behaviour
      • Carnivore fauna
      • Herbivore fauna
      • Omnivore fauna
      • Parasitic fauna
      • Symbiotic fauna
      • Swarming fauna
      • Herding fauna
      • Migrating fauna
    • Fauna by faction
      • (same as flora)
    • Working fauna
      • Hunting animals
      • Pack animals
      • Livestock fauna
  • Funga
    • Funga by faction
      • (same as flora)
    • Funga by behaviour
      • (same as fauna)
    • Working funga
      • Hunting funga
      • Pack funga
      • Livestock funga
  • Microorganisms (e.g. Daemonic Bacteria)
  • Mechanical organisms
    • Purely mechanical organisms
      • Mechanical organisms by faction
        • (same as flora)
    • Cybernetic organisms (organisms in this category would also belong to one of the subcategories of the Fauna, Funga or Warp entities)
      • Cybernetic organisms by faction
        • (same as flora)
  • Energy beings
    • Warp organisms (organisms that are created of warp, rather than materium. Very simplified subcategories.)
    • Category:C'tan
