Cneiras is a world that is near the Fresian Cusp and is home to a nocturnal race of troglodytes that openly worship Chaos.[1]
History
They would be discovered by the Radical Inquisitors, Glorian Sarck and Mynarc after the two fled from the Ordo Malleus, following the execution of Zaranchek Xanthus. Their continued associations with the creatures led to Sarck becoming corrupted and embracing Heresy. However once Mynarc learned of this, he attacked Sarck while his former master was conducting a depraved ritual. Sarck's life would be ended by his own blade and the ritual was disrupted as a result. This caused the Inquisitor's soul to be drawn into his blade, where the trapped Sarck began uttering dark whispers to his former student. Mynarc fled with the blade afterwards, but he was eventually corrupted by Sarck's soul as well.[1]
