Cockatrice (Heavy Cruiser)

The Cockatrice was an Alpha Legion Heavy Cruiser, which took part in the Horus Heresy's Battle of Pluto.[1]
History
As the Battle raged, the Cockatrice was among the fleet that defended Pluto's seized moon, Hydra. However the Imperial Fists Cruiser Spear of Verria, later attacked the fleet, under the command of Captain Vendraal. He sought to defend the moon and used the Spear to protect his forces that were launched towards Hydra. Even as the Cockatrice and Alpha Legion fleet tore the Cruiser apart, the Imperial Fists successfully reached the moon, under the command of Gregorius Skekkir. The venerable Spear then fought on for another 22 minutes, before ending its fight by ramming into the Cockatrice.[1]
