Codex: Dark Eldar (3rd Edition) is a sourcebook to play the Dark Eldar faction in games of Warhammer 40,000. This book was published for the first time in 1998, during the 3rd edition of Warhammer 40,000.^[1] A revised version of the Codex was released in 2002.^[2]

The book has 48 pages and the cover is printed in color while the majority of the book remains in black and white, although there are usually several pages of colour images of miniatures.

The General Structure

In 2002 a revised version of the Codex with additional material by Andy Hoare and Phil Kelly was released.

The book has 48 pages and the cover is printed in color while the majority of the book remains in black and white, although there are several pages of colour images of miniatures.

The primary difference between this edition and the previous is the inclusion of Arcane Wargear, Vehicle Equipment Options, and updated rules for Wyches.^[2]
