Crusade: Nachmund Gauntlet is a campaign expansion supplement for the 10th Edition of Warhammer 40,000, released in February 2025.^[1]

Description

The Nachmund Gauntlet is the largest and most stable of the known routes across the Great Rift. Once a lifeline to deliver reinforcements to those cut off from Holy Terra, it is now a channel through which the destructive treachery of the Traitor Legions can flow from the Imperium Nihilus. The forces of Abaddon the Despoiler have bludgeoned their way through the Nachmund Gauntlet, with his herald – Haarken Worldclaimer – at their speartip. Only the hastily defended Sanctus Wall of loyal systems stand poised to resist, already weakened by heretical agents. On the fortified world of Sangua Terra, grand strategies of conquest and defiance are entwined with bold heroism and darkest betrayal.^[2]

This 120-page hardback book is a Crusade expansion for Warhammer 40,000. It captures the rich narrative of the battle for the Nachmund Gauntlet as Haarken Worldclaimer unveils his grand strategies of conquest and defiance. The book also includes the rules to play narrative games, build and upgrade a Crusade army between battles, and run your own campaigns.^[2]

A copy of the Warhammer 40,000: Core Book, available separately, is required to use the contents of this expansion^[2]

PATHS OF RUINATION

• A narrative introduction to the setting, the trail of destruction leading to the heretic assault on the Sanctus Wall, and the strategies made in preparation. The story of this frantic battle for survival is told through stories, maps, illustrations, and a comprehensive bestiary of the Warlords of Sangua Terra.^[2]

CRUSADE RULES

• The rules you will need to take your army on a Crusade across the stars. Crusade campaigns allow you to track the development of your army between games, acquiring resources – and injuries – with each victory or defeat, turning the greenest of recruits into hard-bitten veterans over the course of many battles.^[2]

THE SANGUA TERRAN WAR

• A wealth of exciting Crusade rules content to help you play out a Nachmund Gauntlet campaign on the tabletop, as any number of players form alliances between Guardians, Despoilers, and Marauders. You'll also find unique Battle Traits, Crusade Relics, Agendas, and Crusade Blessings – themed around the Sangua Terran War.^[2]
