Dapakkani

The Dapakkani are a Necromundan Ratskins tribe, that reside in the Underhive of Hive Primus.[1]
History
They worship the Ratskins hunting god Dapakk and the tribe's name is translated into the Children of Dapakk. Like their god, the Dapakkani are skilled hunters, who pride themselves in being able to track and kill anything or anyone in the Underhive. They value marksmanship more than any other Ratskins tribe and prefer to shoot their prey from a far, rather than fight hand-to-hand. They have such love for firearms, that the tribe knows the value of understanding how their weapons operate and how to maintain them. This has led them to take great risks in order to acquire Imperial weapon technology, which has had a great impact on the Dapakkani's way of life. They are now the most technologically competent of the Ratskins tribes and their shamans act as Tech-Priests, though at a much lower level of aptitude. The Dapakkani's preference for ranged combat even extends to their style of ritual combat to settle disputes, which are done via shooting contests. This reflects the Dapakkani's creed of not killing a fellow Ratskin, unless they are one of the exiled Badskins. However because of their tribes reputation as fine hunters, Dapakkani Badskins have little trouble finding work as Snipers and hitmen. It has also been noted by the Imperium, that the tribe looks nearly identical to the Kuloqa Ratskins, except that the Dapakkani prefer darker colours.[1]
