The Darting Blades are a Space Marine Chapter.[1b]
History
The Chapter's Techmarines are known as Armourers and the Master of the Forge is known as the Chief Armourer. The Darting Blades' Armoury is called the Armourer's Chapel and in M37 it was famously known in the Imperium. At that time, its Chief Armourer, Queue,[1b] created several esoteric creations, which included the Harpoon Gun, the GSRC Bolter, the Mk13 Battering Ram and the Quadruple Bolter.[1a]
Known Battles
- Destruction of an unnamed Space Hulk - ???.M37: The Darting Blades boarded an unnamed Space Hulk filled with Genestealers in M37, but their warships were later forced to begin to bombard it with Nuclear Weapons. However this occurred before the Chapter's forces were able to completely evacuate and they had to escape while the Space Hulk was being destroyed. One squadron was later ordered to capture a Genestealer for study before they could evacuate and the squadron successfully did so. A near disaster struck soon afterwards, though, when a Company of Terminators that was thought to have been lost, were later discovered trapped within the Space Hulk. Thanks to the Mk13 Battering Ram, created[1a] by the Darting Blades' Chief Armourer Queue,[1b] a single squad was able to free the Terminators. They were then all able to escape the Space Hulk, within minutes of it being destroyed.[1a]
