Death Dealers
The Death Dealers are a Tempestus Scions squadron, that aided in evacuating Inquisitor Garric from an Imperial city being invaded by Waaagh! Nazgob.[1]
History
The squadron was not within the city when the Orks invaded it, but instead rode aboard the Valkyrie that had been sent to retrieve the Inquisitor. When the Valkyrie arrived, the city was being overrun despite the efforts of Captain Guillaume and the Cadian 92nd. The city's landing pads were also in danger of being lost to the Orks and after the Valkyrie landed, the Death Dealers emerged and began firing upon the Xenos. By then, Inquisitor Garric was advancing towards them with the aid of a group of the 92nd's Ogryns, that had been assigned as his bodyguards. Despite the efforts of the Waaagh! to kill the Inquisitor, Garric safely reached the Valkyrie thanks to the Ogryns and the Tempestus Scion squadron. The Death Dealers then remained behind to aid the Cadian 92nd against the Orks, as the Valkyrie evacuated with the Inquisitor aboard it[1]. Sometime later, the Bullgryn Rogg killed Warboss Nazgob and this allowed the 92nd to defeat the now leaderless Waaagh! and save the embattled city.[2]
Notes
Due to the colors of their uniforms, it is likely that the Death Dealers are members of one of the Tempestus Scions' Kappic Eagles formations.[1]
