Defence of Khirab

The Defence of Khirab was a battle fought by the Imperium.[1]
The battle saw Ork pirates pour from the Maelstrom towards the Khirab System, though they were intercepted and destroyed in a series of battles with the Imperium. According to the Myths of Endymion, an heirloom history in the possession of the Rogue Trader Uvar Gannalt, their victory was achieved by combining forces from several Maelstrom Warders Chapters led by Astral Claws Chapter Master Lugft Huron, who personally slew the Warboss Rakka. In the aftermath, Huron was hailed a hero to the people of the Endymion Cluster.[1]
