Demetrius is a world of the Imperium[1a]
History
Dominated by heavy forests and ancient temples, Demetrius was targeted during the first half of the Macharian Crusade as Lord Solar Macharius sought to acquire the ancient artifact known as the Fist of Demetrius. Battling through Heretics, the Imperials managed to acquire the relic in the world's central complex.[1a] However, shortly after acquiring the fist, Macharius' ship Lux Imperatoris was lost in a Warp Storm and beset by Dark Eldar raiders under Lord Ashterioth.[1b]
