The Disintegrator Cannon is a Dark Eldar weapon, able to fire bursts of particles of unstable matter from a stolen sun. It is similar to Imperial plasma weapons, but it is more sophisticated and does not suffer from the same over-heating problems. It remains cool even in the fiercest battles despite the ravening energies housed within.[1]
