The Draco Legion are a Space Marine Chapter.^[2]

History

In order for the Imperium to better understand the weaknesses and abilities of the Tyranids, the Chapter captured numerous live specimens to be dissected and experimented on.^[2]

The Draco Legion were the main Imperial force which encountered the splinter Hive Fleet of Harbinger, which was home to an unusual number of unique bioforms.^[3]

The Draco Legion also has a Biomedical Research Station on New Hallefuss which includes non-Astartes personnel. In 766.M41, Magos Biologis Salk studied the remains of the agri-world Dalki Prime to better comprehend the bio-structures and the planetary assimilation patterns used by the Tyranids. His report was then sent to Talasa Prime.^[1]
