Eldwyn's Lament is a former Imperial Shrine World.[1]
During the creation of the Great Rift, the world was consumed by the new massive Warp Rift. When the immaterial tides ebbed, it was revealed that the planet had experienced centuries of time passing. In the place of its Imperial cathedrals and religious iconography now stood the dark basilicas of the Word Bearers, who used their new base to broadcast proclamations of the Ruinous Powers into the void.[1]
