The Epona was a Sword-class frigate of the Salamanders.^[1]

During the fleet battle of Shaprias, the Salamanders and the Minotaurs destroyed the Secessionist fleet at great cost: the Pyre of Glory was damaged and the frigate Epona was abandoned.^[1]
