Shaprias (or Lamptan V) is a Feral World, the fifth planet of the Lamptan System in the Magog Cluster of the Maelstrom Zone, that played an important role during the events of the Badab War.[1][2]
Contents
History
The planet was used by the Secessionists to build a new armada of star vessels and a new army from the brutal and tainted tribal warriors enslaved by the Astral Claws.[2]
The Salamanders and the Minotaurs destroyed the fleet at great cost: the Pyre of Glory was damaged and the frigate Epona was abandoned. On the surface, the progress was slow and bloody and the two Loyalist chapters were victorious.[2]

Atavistic pre-imperial human with moderate levels of warp taint evidenced in general population.[2]
Climate - Geography - Biosphere
The planet is one of two near-identical inhabitable worlds found within the binary star system. That stable inhabitable worlds exist in such a locale is extremely unusual, likely a result of the reality-warping influence of the Maelstrom itself. Both worlds are primordial planets covered in verdant jungles and subject to active volcanism and turbulent storms.[2]
