Explorator Fleet Ventris-Sigmata 91
Explorator Fleet Ventris-Sigmata 91 was launched from the Forge World Mars and is now traveling in an arcing parabola towards the unknown western rim.[1]
History
It carries not only the military might of Mars to protect it, but also a lance of House Krast's Knights. However, like all of the Adeptus Mechanicus' Explorator Fleets, Ventris-Sigmata 91 lost contact with its Forge World when the Great Rift was created. Whether through chance or perhaps the Omnissiah's will, though, the Explorator Fleet was thrust from the Warp and into a contested Imperial war zone. The Iron Hands and Cyderic Combat Engineers were engaged in battle with a piratical flotilla of Aeldari there and Ventris-Sigmata 91's forces aided the Imperials in achieving a hard fought victory. In the battle's aftermath, the Explorator Fleet reestablished contact with Mars and the surviving Iron Hands and Cyderic Combat Engineers decided to join Ventris-Sigmata 91's forces.[1]
