Fir Lirithion
Fir Lirithion, or the "Hearts Armoured for Battle"[1][2] are an Eldar Titan Clan that resides on Craftworld Iyanden.[1]
History
Fir Lirithion has an unusual attitude towards conflict, for a Titan Clan: they view war as a disease of society, and strive to cut leaders from armies like tumours from a healthy body. This tactic, though ethical, relies upon the masses' willingness to disband without leadership and has not always succeeded: Fir Lirithion once struck down the leader of a Waaagh! from the centre of a force like a lightning strike and were nearly defeated when the orks turned their Waaagh! against the Titans instead.[1]
On the moon of Balthon, a strike force of Phantom Titans went deep into the "Valley of Envy" to locate and destroy the command centre of a company of Emperor's Children, forcing the Chaos Space Marines to withdraw to a Feral World upon an outer system which was riddled with virulent plagues that could thicken marine blood by flooding the body with cells from their Larraman's Organ.[1]
