Fortress 23-Alphus is an Imperial world, that is being invaded by the Tyranids.[1]
Among the Imperial forces defending the world, is House Griffith's Dragonsplice Lance. Its Knights have vowed to destroy a Winged Hive Tyrant, which has slain hundreds of soldiers and 23-Alphus' Imperial Commander. After three cycles of hunting, the Dragonsplice have found the Tyrant and are now engaging the beast and the Tyranid swarm it commands.[1]
