Fyrtor Hernkendersson
Kâhl Fyrtor Hernkendersson is a Leagues of Votann Kin in command of the Trans-Hyperian Alliance's Hernkendersson Prospect and starship the Canny Wanderer. He is a member of the Kindred of the Eternal Starforge.[1a]

He was charged with personally delivering a message to the Kindred of the Eternal Starforge's Hernkyn Prospect leader, Myrtun Dammergot, by the Kindred of the Eternal Starforge's Hearthspake. Though Fyrtor had messaged Dammergot about this, by the time the Canny Wanderer arrived at the location of her ship, Grand Endeavour, he learned that she was not there. Instead, the Ironkin Wayfinder Lutar informed Fyrtor that Dammergot decided his message could wait until she had finished disabling a nearby Tyranid Bioship, so that it could be harvested. Lutar stated that he would give the message to Dammergot when she returned, but Fyrtor refused. The Hearthspake had ordered him to deliver the message Dammergot in person as soon as possible, and Fyrtor was worried that he would not get paid if he did not do so. Lutar understood this and gave Fyrtor the best entry point into the Bioship he could use to find Dammergot.[1a] Fyrtor did so and successfully delivered his message to her, informing her of her promotion to High Kâhl.[1b]
When Myrtun decides to pursue a lost Hold, Fyrtor is the first to volunteer his Hernkyn to accompany her.[1c] When they arrive at the hold, he opts to join the initial landing while Myrtun discusses how to proceed with her council back aboard the Grand Endeavour. While on the surface, Fyrtor shares his homebrewed liquor "Plasma Water" with Einhyr Champion Dori "Ironhelm" Hûltvan.[1d]
Fyrtor's Kin assist Myrtun's forces in the coming battle, attacking the Orks which have occupied the Lost Hold from another angle to buy more time for Myrtun to search the place.[1e] Once the Kin begin to be truly overrun and withdraw from the planet, Fyrtor leads a convoy of Sagitaurs and a Hekaton Land Fortress to rescue Myrtun and bring her and her Kin back to the transport ships.[1f]
