A Gauss Annihilator is a devastating Necron weapon found mounted exclusively on Gauss Pylons.

Overview

The Annihilator itself is capable of firing in two different modes, either as a Focused Blast (in a manner similar to that of the Necron Monolith's Particle Whip) or as a Gauss Flux Arc. Whether firing as a Focused Blast or Flux Arc, the immense energy demand of the Annihilator is fed by the Pylon's Power Matrix.

Focused Blast

When firing a Focused Blast, the Annihilator uses a tightly focused particle beam to carry an immensely powerful bolt of energy towards a target, heavily damages all targets within the discharge blast radius.

Similar Weapons

The following weapons are similar to the Particle Accelerator in that they function in a roughly equivalent manner, and require energy input from a Necron Power Matrix:
