A Gauss Obliterator is a devastating Necron weapon.[1]
Overview
The Gauss Obliterator is fired exclusively by a Necron Doomsday Monolith, a heavily modified Monolith found at the centre of a Doomsday Phalanx. The Obliterator functions as a more powerful version of the Necron Monolith's Particle Whip. The immense energy demand of firing the Obliterator is fed by the Doomsday Monolith's Power Matrix.[1]
In addition to drawing power from its own Power Matrix, a Doomsday Monolith can focus power from other Monoliths in the same Phalanx to further amplify the devastating power of the Gauss Obliterator making it a rightly feared weapon of destruction, capable of reaping a mighty tally of both infantry and vehicles in a single sickly green burst.[1]
