The Gore-forged are a Khorne Warband.[1]
History
They are composed of not only World Eaters and other Khorne worshiping Chaos Space Marines, but also have countless mortal followers, as well as a Daemon Prince amongst their numbers. With that many different groups, the Gore-forged are only bound together by fragile blood-pacts and mutually served personal ambitions. Their leaders are alpha-warriors who are able to maintain their dominance over the Warband, but should a new champion join the Gore-forged, then a power struggle is all but guaranteed to break out. This will only end, when the Warband's leader is either overthrown or their challenger is defeated.[1]
The Gore-forged current leader is the World Eaters Chaos Lord Ar'ghurak, though his leadership is being threatened by the recent arrival of the Daemon Prince Vorghor. The Daemon has been able to gather a group of Chaos Space Marine followers within the Gore-forge, who call themselves the Iron Butchers and it is only a matter of time, until Vorghor challenges Ar'ghurak's leadership of the Warband.[1]
