The Greathold is a type of large Bulk Cargo Transport operated by the Chartist Captains.[1a]
Description
Greatholds are of immense size, dwarfing other Imperial spaceships with the exception of Emperor Battleships and unique examples like the Misericord. After arriving at a planet, an event that is celebrated all over the system, the simple process of offloading the transported goods can take dozens of months.[1a] Greatholds can have a service live measured in the dozens of centuries.[1c]
Greatholds carry Limpet Boats onboard to facilitate cargo transportation and crew transferring.[1b]
