Green Taurox

Green Taurox Canned Fluid Refreshment And Energy Delivery System (Single Use) is an energy drink made out of expired assassin-grade frenzon and issued to Guardsmen considered sufficiently expendable. Consumption of Green Taurox is mandatory for such Guardsmen, and they are not permitted to drink alternative beverages (including water).^[1]

Green Taurox’s true nature as a combat drug is supposed to be a secret, however a printing error resulted in the relevant classified information being distributed to readers of The Regimental Standard. The ingredients (1.7% of which originate outside of the known Imperium) are also printed on the drink cans themselves, albeit covered with stickers.^[1]

The drink is extremely dangerous, with Guardsmen usually dying within an hour of consumption. It is rumoured that Green Taurox consumption was behind the “excessive valour” that resulted in an entire regiment being wiped out after receiving a shipment.^[2]
