Gregor Ormond
Gregor Ormond is a sacristan who served House Cadmus.[1]
Biography
Gregory Ormund is a sacristan who trained on the Forge World Raisa. After many long years of study among the Gryphonnen magi, he became an honoured artificer. His great knowledge and expertise was used to maintain the steeds of House Cadmus.[1]
Gregor Ormond was another survivor of the Gryphonnen disaster whose manner of escape had left him stranded amid the Mechanicus refugees. He had become separated from the rest of the House Cadmus entourage when a storm of tyranid spores descended upon their drop-keep, birthing a horde of brood-creatures into their midst. The old man had escaped the massacre that followed, and through sheer good fortune managed to board a Slovo VI orbital conveyor and blast free from the nightmare alongside a dozen maniples of skitarii.[1]
In the slow process of organisation that followed the exodus from Gryphonne IV he and Sir Edgar Lorristan had been brought together aboard the Peregrinus along with Vortigern, each a stranger to the others. Ormond was at least twice Edgar's age; a short grey moustache and thinning hair completed a face that had seen more than its share of years. He was a grim, downtrodden sort of man, much given to bemoaning his state and station.[1]
