Gunwagon
A Gunwagon is an Ork vehicle, commonly used as a transport.
Overview
A variant of a standard Battlewagon, a basic gunwagon features a powerful engine and heavy weapons on its chassis. It forgoes a substantial portion of its transport capability in order to mount artillery batteries worth of Big Guns and Big Shootas. Little more than armour-plated mobile arsenals, Gunwagons advance towards the enemy at a steady crawl as their weapons hammer them endlessly. Orks will be protected inside an armoured cabin, with spotters selecting new targets for the gun crews to unleash their weapons upon. The only real drawback to the Gunwagon is it's usually packed full of ammunition and power cells that - should the foe manage to inflict sufficient damage - will detonate in spectacular fashion. Due to Ork psychology, they view this less of a weakness and more of a golden opportunity to potentially take some enemies with them.[7]
Some types of Gunwagons only have seats for drivers but hand holds are provided to transport Orks over short distances.[1] Much like other Ork vehicles, the gunwagon is a highly modifiable platform, and can be armed with a Zzap Gun[2], a Kannon[3], or a quad of Flak guns[4] while still retaining its transport capabilities. In addition, the gunwagon can be up-armoured to protect the driver and gunner, and also mounts an extra Big Shoota.[5]
