A Witch Engine is a rare type of Ork Gargant, commanded by a particularly powerful Weirdboy whose natural psychic abilities are further enhanced by technological means.[1a]
The engine is armed and protected by powerful psychic weaponry and forcefields. In addition, the gargant is also armed with an assortment of more "conventional" ork weaponry.[1a]
Known Witch Engines
A Witch Engine commanded by Greeneye proved a major threat to the Imperial forces in the Kalidar War.[1a][1b] It was ultimately destroyed by Honoured Lieutenant Marken Cortein Lo Bannick of the 7th Paragonian Super-heavy Tank Company, who sacrificed himself and his tank to bring it down.[1b]
