Hannelore was a serf of the Scythes of the Emperor Chapter, serving as a lieutenant aboard the Battle Barge Heart of Cronus.^[1]

In the wake of the tyranid invasion of the Miral System, Hannelore became the shipmistress of the Strike Cruiser Atreides.^[2]
