Overview
Its capital was Node Primus, where the planet was ruled by a High Council comprised of four senior Magos: Zaefa Varaz, Lexico Arcanus; Viker Yavannos, Grand Genetor; Kapothenis Ull, forge lord; and all serving under Ronrul Illutar, Prime Hermeticon, also taking the title of Tech-Priest Dominus in times of war. Despite holding its own military forces and industrial output, these were not Hephaesto's major strengths, as this forge world's focus was research and development, mostly in the form of STC research and integration, though more untoward developments were pursued in secret as private projects.[1a]
The world was invaded by the Ork Freebooter Badrukk, and then later by the Tekwaaagh! of Da Meklord. Rather than have their forces fight each other for the right to loot the Forge World, the two Ork commanders agreed to a precarious ceasefire to share Hephaesto between them.[1a]
Appearance
The Tech-Priests and Skitarii of Hephaesto wore red robes with midnight blue trim as their colours.[1b]
