Highborn Wardens

The Highborn Wardens were Solar Auxilia Cohorts of the Ultramar High Guard, which took part in the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy.[1]
History
Three of the Wardens' divisions were stationed on Armatura in the Realm of Ultramar, when the planet was attacked by the forces of the Shadow Crusade. The Wardens were then among the Imperial forces that Consul-Praetor Aettius Vasta commanded in his defence of Armatura's Decalian District. The Imperials were ultimately overrun by the World Eaters, who chased down those who fled the District. The Word Bearers then attacked with Hunter-Killer forces, that killed the surviving Wardens and Ultramarines forces that remained in the Decalian District.[1]
