The Hotshot Volley Gun is an Imperial laser weapon capable of maintaining a punishing rate of high-powered laser fire.[1a]
Description
Volley Guns are primarily borne into battle by Tempestus Scions to deal with armoured enemy infantry. They fire with a distinctive spitting howl,[1b] producing las-fire in the sixty megathule range.[2b] Thanks to its capacitor, a hot-shot volley gun can fire nearly 300 shots without recharging.[3] The las-fire is hot enough to convert energy into kinetic force by creating molecular explosions. A Volley Gun easily overpenetrates a person, blowing out the ribcage in the process.[2a]
