House Gryphonne is an Imperial Knight House.[1]
History
Its Knights are serving in Indomitus Crusade Fleet Secundus and are among the Imperial forces defending the Sanctus Wall. There, House Gryphonne is aiding in the effort to repel a Chaos invasion of the Mining World Catagyl.[1]
As the battle raged, the Knights were sent to reinforce the Novamarines Strike Force Ishmayn, which were under attack as they protected the entrance to the Mountain-plex Ajax. However, the Strike Force was nearly destroyed by the Black Legion Sorcerer known as the Fiend, until thirty Sisters of Silence suddenly appeared. The Blanks were able to kill the Sorcerer and they and the Novamarines now await the Knights' arrival. Once House Gryphonne arrives the Imperials will unite and destroy the attacking Chaos forces.[1]
Knights of House Gryphonne are also currently fighting to defend Imperial worlds affected by the Nephilim Anomaly from the Necrons. 3 of the House's lances are among the forces currently attempting to defend the Lomorr System.[2]
