Hurlie Wrex
Hurlie Wrex was an Arbites Captain, part of the Arbites garrison force based in the city of Urbitane on the planet Sameter in early M41.[1]
In 241.M41 she was among those Arbites assigned to investigate a series of ritual murders that had been committed in Urbitane. However, Eskeen Hansaard, Urbitane's Minister of Security, believed that the killings indicated the presence of an heretical cult active on Sameter. Believing that the case was beyond the Arbites' purview, Hansaard sought assistance from the Inquisition (specifically Inquisitor Gregor Eisenhorn, who was present in Urbitane following up on an unrelated case). When Hansaard met with Eisenhorn, Wrex went with him to present the Minister's evidence; on seeing the case file, Eisenhorn agreed to lead the investigation.[1]
