Idarus is an Imperial world, located within the Realm of Ultramar.[1]
In M42, it was invaded by Tyranids and General Strayk's Astra Militarum forces fought to defend the world. However, despite their efforts, the Xenos began to overwhelm the Astra Militarum and Strayk was sure Idarus was doomed. Mere moments after thinking this though, the General received word from the world's Astropathic Sanctum that their distress calls had been answered. Its Astropaths confirmed that Captain Demetrian Titus of the Ultramarines would soon arrive on Idarus with a strike force from his Chapter. This news reinvigorated the Astra Militarum and they are now both fighting to survive until the Ultramarines arrive and to also impress Titus with their efforts against the Tyranids.[1]
