History
Natase was dispatched at the behest of Eldrad Ulthran to rendezvous with Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus under Roboute Guilliman. Despite great apprehension among the Imperials, Natasé was allowed aboard the Dawn of Fire and gave his warning on the imminent disaster on Gathalamor.[1] Natase stayed aboard the Dawn of Fire with a retinue of Dire Avengers bodyguards, barely able to tolerate the stench of the Humans on board.[4a]
During the Pariah Crusade and the subsequent Battle of Mesmoch, Natase intervened to close a portal opened by the Szarekh aboard the Dawn of Fire, preventing Guilliman and the Silent King form battling one another and allowing the Imperials to escape.[4b]
Years later during the Plague Wars Natase was still part of Guilliman's retinue in Indomitus Crusade Fleet Primus. Still dutifully carrying out his duties given to him by Eldrad, he had nonetheless reached his limit of endurance by being around Humans for so long. He opposed Guilliman's plan to interview a Daemonhost in order to gather intelligence on the intentions of Mortarion and Ku'gath.[3a] He later aided Imperial forces on Iax alongside Decimus Felix and Donas Maxim.[3b]
Trivia

- Their name was likely inspired by Romanian tennis player Ilie Năstase.
